This proposal outlines a visionary plan to premiere the UGANDA CONNECTION documentary across Uganda's dynamic skateboarding landscape. Filmed by Renan Carvalho "Dino" alongside Pro skateboarder Garcia Rodriguez , both driven by their passion and inspiration from KSI and sponsored by Gnars! the documentary follows their inspiring journey as they deliver donations to leading skate organizations. These include the Kampala Skateboard Initiative, Uganda Skateboard Union, Uganda Skateboard Society, Uganda Skateboard Community, Climate Skaters Kiteezi, Gulu Skateboard Community and various youth centers. Each premiere event will not only celebrate the artistry and transformative power of skateboarding but also serve as a unifying platform for communities to share in this extraordinary narrative.
Leveraging the influential network of Gnars DAO, this initiative bridges international skate cultures by connecting the vibrant energy of Brazil with the resilient spirit of Uganda. With Gnars' support, the documentary promises to ignite a dynamic cultural exchange, empowering local skate scenes and sparking social change. Sponsors like Gnars have a unique opportunity to invest in a project that transcends film—uniting communities, amplifying voices, and showcasing the global impact of skateboarding.

History & Background
Hello, I'm Isaac Huston, a dedicated skateboarder and proud member of the Gnars community. Together with my friend Ephraim, We had the unique opportunity to journey with the Agents from Brazil during the entire production of Uganda Connection. From day one until the final moments, our mission was not only to deliver essential donations to five different skate organizations in Uganda but also to immerse ourselves in the local culture and build meaningful relationships.
Working closely with the local teams, we helped foster movements that went beyond skateboarding. This experience was incredibly enriching—we learned a great deal about the community, overcame challenges on ground together, and celebrated the unifying power of skateboarding. Our role in this mission was both inspiring and educational, reaffirming our commitment to support and elevate the skate scene, not just in Uganda but across borders.

We are asking for 1350 USDC in funding to bring this transformative experience to life. These funds will be used to secure a high-quality projector and portable projector screen—ensuring that every screening of UGANDA CONNECTION is visually immersive. Additionally, the contribution will cover welfare provisions during documentary viewings, providing a safe and comfortable experience for all attendees understanding the GNARS COMMUNITY. Finally, the funding will facilitate reliable transportation to reach all targeted skate organizations and youth centers throughout Uganda. Your support is pivotal in amplifying the documentary's message, creating a meaningful cultural exchange, and nurturing the global skateboarding community.
