This is the final Gnarly News of the year and what a ride it’s been. We’re closing out another cycle with heavy momentum: countless proposals, onchain experiments, IRL events, cultural collisions, and a crypto market that stayed absolutely unhinged the entire time. Through the noise, the drops, and the chaos, the Gnarly spirit kept rolling, adapting, carving new lines, and refusing to bail.
What this year reinforced is the importance of a DAO like Gnars in the sports + onchain landscape. We’re not just minting assets or posting vibes we’re creating real impact, supporting athletes and artists, activating communities, and building a living culture that moves both IRL and URL.

As a subDAO of Nouns DAO, Gnars continues to build in parallel, pushing the Nounish spirit to its fullest and actively nurturing culture onchain and IRL. The round gathered diverse submissions and heartfelt tributes honoring builders, contributors, and community members who keep the ecosystem moving forward. At the core are Droposals community-approved works that capture the essence of our collective creativity. Once sanctioned, these pieces are minted as unique ERC-721s: one-of-a-kind cultural artifacts that serve as living proof of our spirit to shred, build, and create.
In parallel, the $GNARS token operates through Zora’s creator-coin model. Each piece of gnarly content becomes linked to an ERC-20 token, anchored back to a creator profile. This lets builders and shredders issue content-specific coins, fusing cultural and economic value directly into $GNARS while keeping the flow dynamic and collaborative.
Together, Droposals and $GNARS form a dual-layered system: rare artworks and fluid creator-coins.
