TL;DR
We are requesting from Gnars Dao to fund the creation of DIY parkour equipment for Katwe parkour culture in Uganda. With $1,200, we will build safe, mobile, and durable structures to empower youth, grow the local movement, and represent Gnars through bold creativity and action.
OUR BACKGROUND
Katwe parkour culture (KPC) is a community-led founded by Raki in kampala, Uganda. We use parkour to inspire, uplift, and give youth a positive outlet through movement. In areas like Katwe, there are no formal parkour spaces- yet young athletes train daily in rough conditions, proving their passion and resilence.
Our goal is to provide Safe and creative training setups built from local materials. By doing this ourselves (DIY-style),including the Gnars Dao logo, we reflect both philosophy and the spirit of community innovation.
The Problem We facing
No formal training spaces or safe equipment.
High risk of injury from undafe terrian.
Limited public awareness of parkour in Uganda.
high cost of imported gear.
What we propose,
we plan to build a DIYParkour equipments including;
Vault boxes
Adjustable swing bars
safety mats
balance beams
All equipment will be modular and mobile, built with professional capenters and welders, and transported to training grounds and outreach events.

Why Gnars?
Gnars supports bold movement and building culture from ground up. That's exactly what this project is: DIY, community powered, fearles. we're asking for handouts - we're asking for tools to build somthing powerful.

Merch Design & Contribution to the Gnars Community
As part of our initiave to grow the culture of creativity and athletic expression in our community, we have developed unique merchandise designe that speak loudly to the ethos of Gnars and lil Nouns.
These designs capture the spirit freaks doing cool stuff -aligning with the values of freedom, fun, and fearles self expression.
We plan to produce and sell this merchandise locally and online, with a portion of the proceedes directly contributing back to the Gnars community under the #contribute ethos. This creates a circular ecosystem where the community not only benefits from Gnars support but also gives back in a meaningful way, amplifying the impact.
This merch serves three purposes:
Raise awareness of Gnars and Lil Nouns in Uganda and beyond.
Generate sustainable support for our parkour projects and events.
Give back to the Gnars treasury to support future proposals and builders.

Final word
