We propose allocating 1 ETH from Gnars DAO to co-host a Hacker House / Skate + Hacker Hub during Devconnect Buenos Aires (Nov 17–22, 2025) in collaboration with Builder DAO and possibly Zora
This proposal runs in parallel with a Builder DAO proposal (see proposal) to align resources and showcase the strength of joint initiatives
Our goals are:
Partnerships: In parallel with this proposal, Builder DAO is submitting their own request to contribute 1 ETH. Together with Nouns and Zora the 4 brands will form the foundation of the Skate + Hacker House
Local Media Partner – 7Capas: We will collaborate again with 7Capas magazine in Argentina, who previously worked with Gnars (Noggles rail). They will co-produce audiovisual and printed content and anchor the local skateboarding narrative
Continuity from Devcon Thailand: Last year Gnars created cultural + skateboarding content, minted NFTs/Coins, and built visibility in Bangkok. This year, the focus is not only building Gnars tools but also monetizing the content to channel value back to the DAO
